Projects
What is a project?
Projects bring participants together to work toward a specific goal, whether it is a dance piece that will be presented in front of an audience, or training intensively for a period of time. It’s an opportunity to build relationships with other dancers with whom you will learn and train for a few months.
The Projects can take various forms, depending on the coaches’ artistic vision and the participants’ commitment. It is a full-session journey with the goal of training together and/or performing a choreography at the end of the session. To ensure a great experience for all participants, we ask you to commit to the full session.
Because we believe everyone should have access to the richest dance experience possible and because we believe music is at the heart of everything we do, we encourage coaches and students to work with our live bands to team up with a band, so that projects will perform to live music at the end of the session!
Project trials and auditions take place in September and January. If you cannot attend the auditions, please contact us and we’ll forward your requests to the coaches. Minimum level required for all trials: Foundation or equivalent.
