KATERI – Evening Manager – Kateri is a fun, social, enthusiastic person always ready to give a helping hand around the studio. She discovered Cat’s Corner about 8 years ago while the studio was located on Saint-Catherine Street but due to her work schedule, she could not pursue swing dancing. In January 2014, she decided to change her life for the better and go to university, but she found her life was still missing something. Out of sheer curiosity, Kateri googled up Cat’s Corner, signed up for the next session and never looked back. In a little over a year, she did every level of swing, joined the Blues troupe and participated in a few events. She strives to become a better swing dancer and to teach dance one day to new students and inspire them just as she was inspired by her first teachers (you know who you are). Today, Kateri is part of the volunteer staff at the studio, she is Evening Manager on Friday nights as well as Info Desk Manager. She wants nothing but the best for everyone at Cat’s.
