Cat’s Corner is proud to present to you a cultural event: The Talkies. During the intersession week, we will screen films to educate, entertain and inspire interest in the history of jazz, from both the dance and music point of view.

This time, we will be exploring the life and history of one of jazz’s strangest artist: Slim Gaillard. Prepare yourself mentally for a psychedelic experience as we watch this unique documentary!

This event is open to everyone and has free admission. It will take place at Cat’s Corner studio on Wednesday, June 1st from 7:15 PM until 8:30 PM. Details on upcoming events coming soon.

Talkies, diminutive for talking pictures, was a common name given to movies during the 1920s and 1930s.
