ELIZA – Evening Manager – Looking for new experiences, Eliza left Russia in 2012 to come to Montreal. She is a true artist who loves art of all kinds: painting and drawing, tattooing, jewellery making and circus art. Swing dancing joined this list in 2013 after a first meeting at a Speakeasy Electroswing night, but only in spring of 2014 did her real long-lasting relationship with Lindy Hop and Cat’s Corner begin. In 2015, Eliza became an evening manager during the Friday night Downtown Stomp dances and a member of the Harlem Shout troupe. She sees jazz music and swing dancing as an escape from everyday routine and as a celebration of life with it’s ups and downs.
