Cat's Corner - a place to meet and swing dance

Located in downtown Montreal, the Cat’s Corner swing dance community is a meeting place for swing dancers and jazz lovers alike. Whether people are single, come with a partner or with a group of friends, they come to Cat’s Corner to share in the joy of dance.

Our Social Dancing Community

Cat's Corner provides an open, friendly and relaxed atmosphere in which to socialize and swing dance. Dancers in our community are warm and approachable, creating a safe space for dancers of all levels. While many people do find love through social dancing, Cat's Corner is also a safe environment where people simply share in dance and friendship. For many women, this aspect of Cat's Corner's swing dance community is appreciated after the usual meeting places.

In addition to creating a healthy social atmosphere, we also promote good physical health through our smoke-free environment and juice bar. Swing itself is excellent cardiovascular exercise and increases muscle tone. As well, we encourage social projects by holding food and clothing drives because we believe that we make a difference.
