PHIL – Phil started dancing Lindy Hop in 2012 at Cat’s Corner, and was already teaching one year later, in 2013. His quick ascension surprised many! Because of a powerful need to create new things, Phil and his friends started the performance troupe The Strutting Trousers. Since the DJ battle at Cat’s Corner in 2013, he can be spotted behind the DJ booth during DTS and other dance nights in Montreal. His philosophy as a dance teacher encourages individual expression and creativity. He is known to enter a lot of Solo Jazz competitions; he is the guy who always loses his glasses on the dance floor.
